My Mission Statement

Clothing has been a core theme throughout my life from my human ecology degree majoring in clothing, textiles, and material culture; working part-time as a sales associate/stylist, and being a fashion model I understand each facet of the industry. The research, business, and artistry of clothing are the three pillars that shape my perspective of the clothing industry. Furthermore, throughout my studies at the University of Alberta, I realized the current performance gaps in the textile industry and clothing's ability to sense, detect, and protect the wearer in all types of situations and environments. The purpose of my work is about problem-solving within all levels of management to expand the clothing market to include more functional garments.
